Re: PS1 or PS2 RPGs
The Lunar remake for PS1 is pretty fun. It feels dated compared to some of the FF games, but it has always been one of my favorites.

Didn't the article say the skull was from an 11 year old boy? Props if he was a grandfather. I didn't know they got down like that in the 20's.

I know people who have done that successfully.
Of course, they removed the green substance from the bag first.

Re: Did I just miss this but did ZZZ moved?
Last time they didn't have nearly -enough- of that, so maybe things are headed in the right direction. I like it when I see very specific genre separation at a music store because it gives me confidence that the people working there are enthusiastic about music of all kinds, and keep up with things....

Re: Did I just miss this but did ZZZ moved?
It was about a thousand years and twenty-five locations ago when I last went, but have ZZZ cleaned up their used vinyl organization? Like, organized by genre and not just alphabetically? And by genre, I don't mean just Rock, R&B, Country. A good record store will break it down to Metal, Indie, P...

I'm surprised ZZZ is still open. Not that I want them to close, but Des Moines seems to love running record stores out of business.

I took a picture with him, but I was on my period and way too bloated- I will never post it here.

Re: Hanging out with GWAR tonight-
I went to a 4th of July party at Corey Taylor's house once. He is a huge gaming nerd, and many of my friends are competitive Magic: The Gathering players, so apparently our groups of friends overlap there. It was mostly attended by young teenagers with greasy hair. I have a photo somewhere of me sta...

The photography is beautiful. Here's another set taken by a Russian tourist, shows a lot of what goes on in the capitol. The descriptions read strangely because they are translated poorly from Russian. http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_url?doit=done&tt=url&intl=1&fr=bf-home&trurl=...

Taco John's sucks, yo! Only thing decent is Mexi Rolls and the occasional cup of Oles. Wrong. Crispy taco: RULES. Crunchy Chicken & Potato Burrito: RULES. Potato Olés: BEST SIDE EVER. Taco Burger: WORTHWHILE CURIOSITY. Taco John's cheat code: ask to have them sprinkle Olé seasoning on your taco...

Re: Cityview's Best Of.... B-Bops?
In-N-Out is hell of good but overrated. B-Bops definitely is a contender, but they need to adopt the In-N-Out format of being able to order any combo of burger/cheese that you like. A 3x4 B-Bops burger might even convince me to move back to Iowa. (well, maybe not.) Anyone had Good Times before? I ha...

When I lived in DSM I rarely went to the bars I actually liked because my friends never wanted to leave the suburbs.
So while GTs or The Lift were my favorites, you could usually find me posted up at the motherfuckin' VALLEY WEST PUB.

Seconded. He only has a few memorable verses, and I think it would be more depressing to see him fuck up those precious few than missing out on them altogether.
