Kind of a cool photo essay. As it's hard for journalists to enter North Korea, all of these pictures were taken from across the Chinese/North Korean border.


Looks like it really sucks to be those guys.

The photography is beautiful.

Here's another set taken by a Russian tourist, shows a lot of what goes on in the capitol. The descriptions read strangely because they are translated poorly from Russian.

There were more photos in the thread, especially of the border guards at the DMZ, but it appears the image links are all broken now.
All that's missin' is the retired band teacher with the self-inflicted gunshot wound!
