no deep fried food is vegan unless the dude running the fryer has a deep personal cause to actully seperate the fried meat (like crispy chicken) from an appitizer. but usually the resturant doesnt have the facilities or the comunication to keep meat cooking oil from non meat cooking oil.

That's how I justify it, at least.

Not by how dumb that "joke" (I guess) was, but by the process that goes through your head that allows you to claim yourself to be "a vegetarian" and to somehow justify it all.
Cheese has rennet in it. Rennet is an enzyme used to coagulate milk and is obtained by slaughtering a calf, cutting open the stomache and harvesting the enzyme.
