Buy some drums
Pearl Forum 5 piece drum set. Snare has a pretty new head. high-hats and ride cymbals. random other cymbal hardware/stands. I've got another tom from another drum set that I don't know where it came from. I've got the kick pedal that came with it, and a nice double kick pedal - I'm 99% sure it's an ...

Re: Mustard Plug?
Back to the topic - I've seen Mustard Plug. When I was in Moving Mikey we played SKAppleton in WI with them and I Voted for Kodos and others. Mustard Plug is ok but they're not fantastic live or anything. Just listen to Evildoers or Pray for Mojo and you've got their setlist.

I've got the herbs on the back deck. A lot of basil and a few kinds of it, cilantro, mint, rosemary, sage. The garden has a couple kinds of tomatoes, jalapenos, hot banana peppers, beans, carrots, zucchini, and i think we're going to try some small watermelons. I figured i'd till and fertilize the s...

Re: Hank II
honestly, i never have seen any such burning of the blades from watering in sun, but i've heard it. i didn't have much of a choice with my sod - we had it put down in August when it was over 90 degrees everyday, on crappy soil, and it didn't rain for at least 2 weeks after we started - so we were pr...

Need a part-time job, 5pm-9pm shifts?
I've been working out at Chase Suites Hotel as a bartender for a while but my hours are changing at my full time job so I can't do it anymore. For a part-time job this is SUPER easy. It's a real low volume bar/hotel. They do social hour where guests get free appetizers and draught beer from 5-6pm - ...

I think I went to a show at Connie's or Spooner's back in the day with Red Dreaded Step Child playing. Probably with Nuclear Kicks or Grubby Ernie or something. I don't remember liking them but it was a long time ago. I'll say I think they sucked. And the sod, don't let it get soggy but keep it well...

So what the hell is the deal with Dubay's anyways? It seems like it's trying to go for a more fine dining feel, but then you have all these punk rock radio nights and murphy's law and shit?... Are you trying to be a restaurant or are you trying to be Mary's? I guess I don't really care about your an...

Re: Let's Discuss The Worst Intersections in Des Moines
Not an intersection but headed south on MLK where it's 2 lanes then there's a slight curve to the right and a 3rd lane opens on the right... people from the left lane ALWAYS move into the center as that is curving. SE 14th/Park/Indianola area is stupid like Ryan said. And in front of Central Campus ...

And what sources exactly have you seen that show either obama or clinton having ANY lead over mccain? Every poll I've seen has shown him ahead of them by a substantial margin. Ryan - You should check out Lucca in the East Village - I think you'd like it. Small menu but it changes everyday and I haven't had, or been with anyone that had anything less than outstanding. I'd go on a Monday-Thursday though. It's fixed price at $25 for 2 courses during the week - and you get a ...

Re: Ron Paul calls it quits
If you'd pay attention to the actual subject you're spouting your opinions on, you'd know that both Clinton and Obama have been bringing out a huge voter turn-out. Even when there were white males as what appeared to be viable democratic candidates, Clinton was still miles ahead in the 60+ age group...

Re: Ron Paul calls it quits
because the democratic party is so fucking divided and too busy playing the gender/race card to stand a chance Why do you say they are playing this card? Sure, the media has been playing this card, to the candidates' chagrin... but if you listen to the candidates, they don't bring the subject up wi...
