I should be there. Saw LTJ when they came to ISU a few years ago and they put on a great show. It would be cool if there were more local bands on first fleet shows.

Have they put up a free download of the EP anywhere besides the unmixed version on the myspace?

Yeah, really liked all the bands. Iron Chic was awesomer than I hoped. They played all my favorites. Not Like This is such a good album.

I like almost every band Cobra Skulls are compared to or friends with, but I can't get into them. Their "Subterranean Homesick Blues" cover is pretty rad, though.

A new record store, The Vinyl Cafe, is opening Tuesday or Wednesday on Main Street in Ames.
