i think i agree...i always thought the drum machine would be phased out...i swear one of them said something about wanting a real drummer...its a good alternative if there is nobody around...but they would be that much better with a drummer...fo real

oh definetly. i'm sure its just a lack of options. although i could see pass the aseethe album without caring about the electric drums. maybe they just weren't as obvious.

Shores isn't going to get a drummer because it's god damn Godflesh worship, duh. Anyway, Shores rules, they've been playing new songs around here and it's awesome. They got this new fast one that really rips it. ALSO if you guys don't have it yet, pick up the Shores/Aseethe plit 12". HOLY SHIT is all I gotta say.

I really like this stuff, Ben. I definitely get a more indie rock HWM feel. Keep doing what you're doing. I would like to hear what faster songs from Long Nights sound like though.

Thanks dude,

We have a hand full of songs and i'm almost positive sometime this winter they will be recorded for our EP we want to release. I can't really describe them as being faster, but they all are a bit different in a certain way.

I am glad you guys are digging it, not liking it because its a new band, causing discussion. That is what I am here for.

Continue.

I just listened to these songs 4 times in a row and I can now confidently say I really, really like this band. Great songwriting. Stoked to hear more.

I kept thinking to myself while listening to the songs last night..."these guys really remind me of a band I love, but I can't quite put my finger on who." Then it hit me today...Get Bent. Do you guys listen to them? I hear similarities...maybe it is your influences? Regardless, that is a GREAT band to sound like. Get Bent ruled so hard. http://www.myspace.com/getbentson

"This Summer" reminds me of Polar Bear Club and "Play Dead" reminds me of House of Commons a little. That's good.

Anyway, I'm stoked to play with these guys Dec. 11th in Ames.

Can definitely hear the Polar Bear Club influence on that song.

What bands are playing the show in Ames? I'm gonna hopefully make that.

They broke up. The way I heard it was they decided to stop doing the band because it was ruining a friendship between two of the members or something. All their music is available on their myspace. I don't like the reworked version of Play Dead.

I did hear rumors of an Old Men, Dead Dogs reunion which would be SICK AS FUCK.

Man....that's a bummer! Love that new(er) song they posted of thier latest demo...."Heart Attack Knees." Probably their best stuff yet. This band had SO much potential.

Shane heard wrong. Chris needed to be around for college this summer instead of touring so they decided to call it a day. I highly doubt OMDD will do anything ever again, no one remembers the songs.

Well, I heard it from Aaron Maranville, so no wonder I was off.
