The opening sequence was great. And the hanging sleeping bag was probably the greatest death in the movie, and an awesome homage. The bow & arrow was a nod to his mom, who used it once...and did you notice the wheelchair in his pad? Just adds to the fact that he always covers everything up.
I thought for sure he was going to use the hockey-stick that fell in front of him, but it was a nice touch anyway, and the screwdriver that followed was pretty brutal. I also enjoyed the douchebag getting lynched on that truck as it drove away, and the way he left the black guy screaming for help for a few minutes before dropping him like a bag of dirt.
And you must admit, Derek Mears plays a damn fine Jason. He's hulking and silent at the same time, and seems powerful without being supernatural, its more like the retard strength we all know he has.
