The opening sequence was great. And the hanging sleeping bag was probably the greatest death in the movie, and an awesome homage. The bow & arrow was a nod to his mom, who used it once...and did you notice the wheelchair in his pad? Just adds to the fact that he always covers everything up.
I thought for sure he was going to use the hockey-stick that fell in front of him, but it was a nice touch anyway, and the screwdriver that followed was pretty brutal. I also enjoyed the douchebag getting lynched on that truck as it drove away, and the way he left the black guy screaming for help for a few minutes before dropping him like a bag of dirt.
And you must admit, Derek Mears plays a damn fine Jason. He's hulking and silent at the same time, and seems powerful without being supernatural, its more like the retard strength we all know he has.

I forgot about the impaling on the truck, that was good. And the screwdriver, that was intense. Both had a creative flare to 'em. I'll give you credit on those.

I noticed the wheelchair and recognized the bow and arrow as homage.

Retard strength is nifty. The supernatural stuff I don't mind though. Jason Goes to Hell reveals the truth of it all.

This movie was only good because it was just me, servo, cam, and j-full in the theatre being as loud as possible and yelling at the screen. Some creepy dude came in for one of the sex scenes and then left after it was over. lol.

Anyone see the Inglorious Basterds preview at the beginning of this? I'm beginning to get a little pumped for it!
