Man...I used to love this band like 13 years ago. Depending on who they play with, I might go to this, but probably up at the Triple Rock instead of this date. No Joe Principe is sorta lame.

How come everyone in a pop punk band is named Joe "something"?
abortions for some, miniature american flags for others

Spicolis isnt bad. They have helped me out alot in the past. I used to do a few shows here and there when it was The Reverb. I am doing this show independently, I couldnt pass up 88 Fingers. Anyone know of any bands from the Des Moines area that would be interested in playin the show? Let me know.

Spicoli's isn't bad if you don't mind the insane amount of bro Cub fans and white trash that hang out there on a daily basis, their horrible selection of beers and the fact that they start their shows at 9 pm. I have a feeling there will be a no stage-diving policy as well. Should have looked into the Amvets. Only $130 to rent, has a stage (not huge, but still a stage), large room, and cheap drinks at the bar.

Any bands from the Cedar Valley playing this?

Definatly not one with the bros. I have had a few shows at the Amvets, Aveneged Sevenfold..My brother used to work with them alot. I saw Link 80 there a long time ago right before Nick died. Only thing that sucks about doing a show there is gettin a PA so the overhead would be a little more. I have never got good feelings from the old folks there. I have lost all my old connections on PA equipment. Right now I dont have any bands on the bill, but am looking at few here in town that I think would fit fairly well with them.

If I could get a ride up to this with someone from die mutts or if you are going nick, that would be rad.

Otherwise, I don't think I'm going to go.

It's not confirmed that we're playing. I asked Jenson if it would be ok he said he'd give me an answer by Mon. If we're on you'll be able to get a ride for sure. there will be a few cars going up with us.

I hate to say this but the show is no longer going to happen. I guess a few of the guys cant get off of work early enough to make it in time. I am greatly sorry for this. I will try to work something out with them for the future.
Here is what I got from Dan:

Christian, I'm sorry, but we won't be able to do the show on Friday night. One of our members can't get out of work early enough and we wouldn't make it in time. I was going to then ask you about Sunday, but we wouldn't be able to do that either.
I'm still interested in coming out there to play a show, so maybe we can set something else up in the future. Thanks again for all of your time.

Dan
