If" cops don't make law, they just enforce them" Why are police opposing marijuana legisltation?

It seems pretty obvious to me that cops should be against legalizing marijuana not for moral reasons but because of self interest. Lets face it if its legalized across the board there's a pretty good chance their budgets are going to start being cut which would mean job losses. I can't blame a guy for wanting to keep his job and feed his family even though I do agree that marijuana should be legalized.
