Guitar cabs, WAH WAH WAH

Post by Thom » Sun Jul 05, 2009 5:30 pm

I need another cab. I am currently running a marshall JCM 2000 dsl with a 1960A cab, that rules. Problem is, I want to be louder. I eventually want to play through two amps, but right now that isn't practical. I've been watching pawn shops, craigslist, etc but I haven't seen any really good deals.

I'm looking for someone that has a spare cab that would either like to sell or trade for it. I need a cab that is going to go well with my current set up, but that really won't be hard to find.

I am willing to trade:
-Peavy 100Watt TNT bass amp (as made famous by colonizer)
-Hammer Slamer bass guitar (that I've been trying to break forever, pretty much worthless)
-Playstation 2
-Dreamcast
-Anything else you can find in my house that you think might be worth it.

Are there any places around town that make custom cabs? I remember hearing about somewhere when I was in highschool but I can't even remember what that was at this point. I was on craigslist and saw this: http://desmoines.craigslist.org/msg/1252115088.html
Does anyone know anything about that?

audiozone amplifiers in nevada, iowa might be one to look into. you could ask them to make it with really heavy wood to get that sweet black flag sound.

I never really got into that much. I know its like "the best system ever" or some crap, but I just don't play it often.

$200 each is what I want out of them but I could probably negotiate. $250 a piece for you since I hate you and stuff.

emperors are way sick too! but really if you are planning on spending money on either of these cabs you should just buy another marshall 1960. you should buy a B cab though so then you can get a little more low end out of your bottom. i mean i play out of a B on the bottom and an A on the top and i think it sounds great. i think that cab wise you cant get any better than marshall.
