It wasn't Flogging Molly I don't think, but another band. I was working at Big T that night, it was something along the lines of, they were fucking shit up at Marys when Nate was working, and refused to leave. So they got chased out with a club of some sort.

I'm thinking maybe it was The Tossers. I can't see how anyone could mix up the two of those bands...............

Of course we wanted to play the show, but we knew early on that we wouldn't get it. We heard about 5 different stories along the way, so we knew they didn't want us for the show, but there are no hard feelings towards Tyborn Jig or Sam at all. Its cool that Tyborn Jig is opening though. They are cool guys and I am honestly really glad to see that they got the show. They deserve a shot on a big show just as much as any other local. Just because we are the same genre as Flogging Molly doesn't mean it should have gone to us.



For the record, I am not really a big Flogging Molly fan, and never really have been. I still love the fact that Sam is bringing them to town though... I hope they start bringing a lot more shows like this in.

I would say they sound more like Dropkick Murphy's and not at all like FM. Then again it's kind of like all that shitty Hardcore stuff you all listen to, to an outsider it all sounds the same.
