Better get your money ready.
I kid, I kid.
I'd like to see the Powerplant with its complete lineup. I'll probably just see them in IC in August. At least I think there is a show next month.

i wouldn't bank on that. that date is pretty shaky at this point. best to come down here and catch it at the basement. . .

You know I'd really like to go. It has been a long time since I've been at the HB. But since gas is almost $4/gallon I don't think I can afford this show.

i haven't seen the tour. i imagine they'll be doing spoken word readings from various zines, and some other performance type stuff.

That's why I'm laughing, because as far as I knew, the band was pop punk.

not anymore...we reworked a lot of the stuff, and its really quiet and melodic at times..and a little louder and annoying at others.
at any rate...I'm going to have a lot of fun.

well, we'll see. artnoose and that silly funk band weren't my doings, but were already booked for the bill apparently. it'll be a fun show. plus, Powerplant will be showing up for this which is awesome.
From the Depths will probably be amazing.

I will try to be in town for this because I am seriously fucking pumped for From the Depths.
So, is it confirmed that From the Depths is a hardcore act? I mean, I can't imagine it being anything else... but you never know. Regardless, it will be great.

they were described to me as requiem meets 1905. but one of the vocalists told me that wasn't very accurate. from what i can tell, it is h/c with dual male/female vocals. i'm gonna check them out thur in winona, i'll let y'all know.

hardcore confirmed. saw them last night in Winona, MN and they fucking blew me away. everyone seriously needs to attend this show. these are some of the most passionate motherfuckers playing music today.
also, according to the bass player of FTD, Path to Misery is one of the most brutal bands live ever. so pumped.
whoops, gotta flyer for this shit.

last night's show was so fucking good. the powerplant is permanently down to a 2 piece, but still rocked so, so hard. still one of the best live bands in iowa. artnoose did the spoken word thing, but it wasn't some pretentious ego maniac garbage like a lot of it. from the depths are guaranteed to kick your ass. they were so fucking good it almost hurt. what they did was technically nothing new, but they did it better and with more passion then most bands i have ever seen or heard. everyone for sure should come to this show.

i really enjoyed myself at this show. and it made me feel a LITTLE BIT like a dick for not making myself get out to more of these haunted basement shows.
every show i've gone to there was a blast.
