dont know if anybody remembers this band or not they played hear a long time ago back in june 2003 anyways they are going to be touring in september just wanted to know if mabey somebody could book them mabey at the Haunted basement

hmmm maybe i'll call mike anderson but i feel really shitty about how their last iowa city show turned out. it wasn't my fault, we had a lot of flyers and promotion and it was on a friday but i think both bannon/rapider got like $150 combined, and that's all they took because he knew i was paying so many bands out of my pocket and they came all the way from indy just for that one show.

i guess i booked this band every time they came to iowa outside of a ten grand record release show, for what it's worth

their new record will probably kill you. acid or blood indeed

elliot and i had a bad turnout for amen ra/battlefields and had to put in a bunch of money ourselves, actually. fuck this 'pass the hat' stuff, it SHOULD work but if i ever do a show there again it's gonna have a suggested donation that i'll walk up to folks and ask for, like at the practice space.

it would be a cool space for the bannon guys though for sure, though they can blow some PAs now. dudes sound fucking massive

i'll work directly with you guys next time, cuz i flyered the house itself, zzz, java joe's and i guess i didn't get em to BPE that time but still. i think it had more to do with not having a local, but i'm still never sure where all to flyer in DSM.
