I don't agree with the ticket price....but I don't set them either. Their ticket prices are comparable at their other stops on this tour.

EPIC shows back to back at the Vaudeville Mews....

Skeletonwitch and havok

as well as

Deicide

great performances, great turnouts, great crowd participation.....

stick that in your metal up your tap review and smoke it

fans of heavy music in the 515 have ZERO to bitch about....

Deicide, Morbid Angel, and Cannibal Corpse have come through downtown in the last couple months.

There were only two things that I was really pointing out.......

1) Des Moines has recently hosted a number of both legendary and up and coming bands. This can be said for multiple genre's, but I know for fact in the realm of metal....because I attended these shows personally!

2) I think pretty much everyone agreed that the Metal Up Your Tap review was silly. If someone really wanted to get a story on the metal scene in town there are a ridiculous amount of events to attend. Every once and awhile they are even free! Attending one event in a series of events and not even mentioning the music while you are at it....is a tad daffy.

And how many tickets did you sell on behalf of promoters who were too lazy to do their job....personally?

I agree with with this sentiment. For a local/regional band there is plenty to bitch about. I suppose my positivity was coming from the perspective of a fan of heavy metal.
