the novelty of strip clubs wore off for me years ago. before i worked here, i used to hang out at this one a lot, but that was mainly to drink for cheap and hang out with my friends who worked here. in all honesty i've never spent money on a stripper at this club. not to mention it's only a topless bar. on occasion, when there's downtime i'll hang out near the stage, but i'd honestly rather hang out in there and read. i've heard a lot of reactions like this, but for me the money is well worth it.
the real tragedy here is that i make more on a weekday night doing this than i do fighting wildfires.
