Yes. What would you be comfortable paying to see Propagandhi for the first time in your hometown? Serious question.

$16 if they were taking what they need for expenses and gave the rest to charity and not making a shitty bar a couple hundred bucks in the process.
i mean i get high ticket prices are a reality these days especially for bands propagandhis size. but this is propafuckinggandhi here.

Man...their last album was fucking stellar. $16 is a little steep, but I'd pay that to see this:

At least I don't have to drive to Chicago or Minneapolis or something to see them. I bet they are really gonna throw a shit fit about the "no dancing" policy at the HOB though.

I paid $16 to see them in Minneapolis and it was worth every penny. Now I don't have to drive to see them, so I'm saving money. Quit whining, ya whiner!

I kinda felt like the price was a little high myself so we are doing a couple things. Advance tickets will be available now for $15 instead of $16 at midwestix.com. Also, I am going to find a place to have advance tickets with no additional service fees (maybe bricks or ZZZ). If anyone has any ideas let me know. Otherwise I will post info on that and openers soon.

I'm really into this. Every promoter that sells advance tickets should do this for every show they put on.

Too often those "convenience" charges push that ticket price over what the market is willing to pay. There have been a few shows that I didn't go to over the last year because it seemed that the price was about 20% over what I was willing to pay to see the band. With ticket sales on the downturn, it's time that bands, their management, booking agents and promoters begin to understand that with almost 1 out of every 10 people being unemployed, the market can't handle higher ticket prices.
At any rate, I would be willing to sell a few tickets at the shop. Also I'm sure if you asked Frank he might be willing to sell them at Union Station. I don't log on here that often so send me an e-mail at

You can now pick up tickets for this at House of Bricks for $15 (no service fees). They have a limited supply of them so stop in whenever to grab them. Thanks guys!
