I don't think he would have dug you too much. Gate's LAPD had an on-going war with Punk Rock begin March 17th, 1979 with the Elk's Lodge Riot to well into the the 90s. It was a regular experience to be watching a band and then suddenly the riot police would show up and just start kicking ass. He's downfall may have been Rodney King but the testing ground was beating up on white teenage kids with weird hair cuts and strange clothes. Under his leadership the police targeted any minority group, racial or otherwise and bullied and abused them cause they knew they could get away with it.

Stop being a homophobe and using hurtful language to homosexuals.

Yeah, right. Gates would've loved me. Also, I don't know if you've been paying attention but I have a "high and tight" haircut and dress like a normal guy.

Well, in the late 70s and early 80s, short hair and being under 50 was not the norm. Then throw in being at the "wrong" show and you would have had the Chief Gates official "OK to beat up" target hanging around your neck. In fact anyone that didn't fit into his narrow view of what a "Good American" was, was on that list.

I didn't say Gates was a homosexual. I said he was a fag. The are two entirely different things. Don't you watch South Park?

I know in Minneapolis in the 80's it was pretty routine for cops to beat the shit out of punk rockers.

I'm torn on this.
Not sure who I hate more, cops or niggers.
