Steven Seagal is accused of hiring young women as personal attendants whose real job was to serve his strange and sometimes violent sexual desires, according to a civil lawsuit filed Monday in Los Angeles by a 23-year-old former model who describes her experience in harrowing detail.

She probably thought they would kill her. That's pretty good motivation to not try to escape.

This is pretty sketch, why is* she taking him to court in a civil suit instead of criminal case? Trying to get his $$$.

It's way easier to win in a civil suit. Something like burden of evidence or some shit. A lot of lawyers won't prosecute rape cases, especially when they're this old, because they are really difficult to win.
