sxsw, dawg. i actually worked the prosthetic showcase. one of my buddy's bands just got signed to them.
http://www.myspace.com/clingingtothetreesofaforestfire talked to a dude who knew you.
the showcase was inside at the mohawk and outside on the patio was high on fire, gates of slumber, zoroaster, bison bc, and priestess. then i saw pretty much the same show without high on fire and zoroaster a couple days later.
gates of slumber are fuckin awesome.

SXSW hmm...Had to have been Mark V. or John S. I'm guessing it was Mark or "Mark II" as I call him. One of my buddies works at Gabes now and gave me the booking guys email so I can make sure they don't miss out on Priestess next time around. All of those guys were cool as fuck on the GWAR tour.

joe - yeah dude, saw them a week ago. dixie was straight up drinking nyquil between every few songs. stoked to see em with black cobra, gates of slumber, and struck by lightning.

Those Darlins play in Iowa City on the 10th with Deer Tick.

Seriously awesome. I've been hoping for a show to come through for awhile. The last one I saw was the 10 Commandments tour at Mary's like 6 or 7 years ago. I want to take my nieces. They would enjoy it.
