Weird. Didn't see that one coming. Good for them, I guess. I just hope they don't change their sound. Don't change, man.

How come nothing has actually been announced about this yet? I saw Mr. Brett's myspace today and he has Off With Their Heads pretty high on his list of who he's listening to, so that's encouraging. I just want to make sure it's official.

Yeah...it is pretty weird that nothing has officially been posted on Epitaph's website and I don't think the band can really "confirm" until given the o.k. by the label, but Zack Gontard posts on the PPMB all the time and he pretty much confirmed it there. That place is full of people who are friends of the band and they have all pretty much said it's a done deal as well.

Weird that Nate is in the picture and has been on the last few records, but isn't listed as a band member?

Nate usually doesn't tour with them, but he records with them and is a band member. Rob is the "touring" bassist and Nate is the "recording" bassist. Still strange they didn't include him, but he is in the band photo.

I guess Disney can't handle OWTH? They aren't letting them play any HOB shows.

So their new album is coming out on Epitaph on June 8th. There is the main release "In Desolation" coming out on LP/CD, but there is also a limited edition 7" called "Trying To Breate" being sold the same date. Both are up for pre-order now on Epitaph's site. They are also selling some bundle packs that include t-shirt/zippo/koozie and shit too.
OH....and a new song ("Drive") off the upcoming album is streaming on their MySpace page. This shit is gonna rule!

I like the song a lot. "From The Bottom" was my favorite album of '08 and with their budget from Epitaph, I've heard they had a lot of time to work on the little things in the studio and it paid off on the production side. So if it ends up being like "From The Bottom" with better production, it's gonna be a stellar album.

It's a good song, but I don't know if it will come close to their other releases. Hopefully I'm wrong.
A few of us in CF are considering going up to the release show in June.

Yeah, I've been thinking about it too. I'm a fan of Eclipse Records. Saw them there last summer with Dear Landlord and Dillinger Four. One of the best shows I've been to in a few years.
