Just got word that TPTD broke up

You know, this was announced three weeks ago. Not exactly news anymore.

There will be a final show for the most recent line-up October 4th, and then a reunion show of the We Are a Weapon line-up November 6th. Both will rule. I wish the insults on this board were as good as how Lambgoat posters have treated them.

Guess they just weren't pure enough.

i'll be at both shows though i'll confess im much more excited for the november show.

Just inadvertently heard about this band. WTF...how is des moines having a music scene now? Coupled with a few other bands (*cough* destrophy...) and all the shit going on downtown it's looking like the Austin of the mid-west.

i cant seem to pull up the vaudeville mews website but its this sunday oct 4th at 5pm. 12 or 15 to get in, dont remember.

Servo, the reason Nick has tickets is cause he's in victim or victory now. If you guys plan on going, get tickets from those guys.

I never claimed to like this band...but I went anyway. I enjoyed Victim or Victory a lot more. TPTD seemed wayyyy too gimmicky and too much like a show rather than playing because you enjoy playing. I know that is a stupid thing to say because it is a show, but it isn't something I am used to seeing in hardcore. I pretty much only enjoyed myself during TPTD's last song when I got to stage dive the one time and everyone went crazy.

Other than that, I look forward to people actually going nuts at the Nov 6th show (and then going even MORE nuts at the In Defence show the next night!!!!)
