Yes, this is happening again, late show at the Mews on October 31st. A slightly shorter set this time, since we played for waaay too long last year.

Also playing will be an Operation Ivy cover band.

We'll have the official list of songs pretty soon, so everybody can sign up. We want tons of people to sing.

Get stoked!

What Misfits songs do you all wanna do? What would you like us to play that you can all sing to? This time, if you sign up, you gotta do it, no backing out.

TylerDoIT, get at me so we can figure shit out.

So. What are songs you guys want to hear? THAT AREN'T DANZIG SONGS!

List them and let us know if you want to sing them.

Also on a partially related note:

As far as this Minor Threat cover set goes, Tyler is probably not going to be able to participate. If this is going to happen, then we need a new line up. I am going to be playing drums, Kyle, do you want play guitar? Jessep bass? who wants to try to be Mr. Mackaye for an evening? Like I said, if this is going to happen, we need people. Also, if this is going to happen, we need to get shit going ASAP. Get back to me if you have interest. I really want to do this but time is running out.

I'll just show up and do vocals. Top serious. I don't even need to practice.

I like how the 2 people in this band are suposto be the 2 people doing the suprise band outside at the exact time. also if the outside show gets moved how can you be at 2 places at the same time?

well, the misfits thing was definitely discussed before the outdoors show. Why might that show be moved? Plus, you said that that show is starting at 5 and ending by 9 or 10 and you were playing a movie afterwards.

It would get moved if bad wether happens. last year it had to be done by 10:30. This year i'm still working out details. a noise permit can go longer than 10pm. I'm tring to work it out, so it can go till 12:30 or a little later. so the outside bar can stay open later.

I'm not tring to argue about anything, if the misfits thing was talked about first than that's your #1 priority on that day. what you were going to do with the Mutts and the other thing would have been if you had the extra time.

now that it's all clear and in the open. I will decide how to work around this minor set back.

I would think there are plenty of people who would want to go to BOTH of these shows, so it doesn't make much sense to me to have them going on at the same time. Just saying.

ok, here are a couple thoughts I wanna throw out

what if we combine shows? take over the whole day inside mews and just have music and fun going on the entire day?

my only thing is I wanted it to be a free show like last year and the year before. where people could stand and watch a show with a beer in one hand and a smoke of choice in the other like old days. where if you can't afford to buy drinks at the bar at least you could have a couple stashed in your car.

who knows the wether might be good, I'm just tring to have a back up plan in case it's not.

also, outside the music would be over by 11pm to leave enough time for the movie that would be over by 12:30 ish.

Last year everything went smooth, both shows had no problems. it would be the same this year only when you walked out side to smoke you be looking at a movie playing, and if you finish your drink before your done with your smoke you don't have to wait till your inside to get another.

We got a pretty good idea last year of what songs people care about and what songs people don't so much. "American Nightmare" is unfortunately one of those that no one gave a shit about at all.

Quit requesting unpopular Misfits songs!
