What's the deal?
Looks like a nice facility but i guess it's owned by a church.

so it's pretty much just a nice looking facility, owned by church? that you can drink beer in?

beer? I don't think so...
I played there once with some friends in other Ames bands. The sound was awesome. The stage is a good size, but a little bit awkwardly high. The people that run it don't really know how to book, promote, and run shows.

It really sucks that I've lived in Ames for the last 21 years of my life...because I look exactly like those guys and can't stop myself from going to Zeke's and Salt Company

Wasn't there a Zeke's in Marshalltown that used to do shows too?
Either way, this place looks terrible, like most things here.

I don't usually call people faggots, but man... look at those faggots!
That venue is also suspiciously faggy. Nice chairs. Wow.

You're signatures ratio of laughs to bytes is terrible.

Man, I thought Zeke (the band) was playing in Ames. Bummer. I remember The Toasters were to play Hairy Mary's once, but canceled and Zeke played instead...we skipped out on that show.

Actually, it was Voodoo Glow Skulls who were supposed to play. I wasn't that stoked on Zeke back then, but realize now that they rule. Their most recent album (on Relapse) is quality stuff.
