the only thing positive i can say about peta is that they expose the idea of vegetarian/veganism to young people who may have no idea of how the meat, dairy, etc. industries work and function at their worst....many people would never see how meat is mass produced without the work of peta.... however, all of the hypocrisies(sp?), tactics and propaganda is incredibly flawed and annoying...I would say that peta is benifitial to preteens who may care about the treatment of animals, to everybody else they are annoying, and will most likely become annoying to those young people at some point in time...

one of my brothers worked for peta when he lived in d.c.
he was working for a temp place and they sent him there. he stuffed envelopes and was a "protester" for 10 bucks an hour.
