Hey guys,

Most of you on this board probably don't know who we are. Red City Radio is a punk rock band from Oklahoma City. You've probably never seen us live, or don't know anyone who has in this part of the country. But I would love to bring some news to those of you who want to know what is new and BIG for us as of today...

. . . mean anything to you then you probably know they are, or once were, signed to Eyeball Records out of New Jersey. Well today I can say Red City Radio is as well. I want to thank everyone who has supported us over the years, had kind words or sage advice. We would love to have the opportunity to hang with you all when in your neck of the woods in Des Moines. These guys actually sound decent compared to those other bands though.

The purpose of listing these bands was to let people identify with what this label has done, and to show the diversity of the label. Anyone who has taken the time to check us out would have immediately noticed we don't sound like any of these bands... and thanks Nick for the kind words.

I gotta be honest... I'm on a few boards around the country, and generally most all of the people I interact with on those boards are very nice. The only responses I've gotten on here (unlesss I'm just completely reading into them incorrectly) have been trash talk. I'm just trying to share some music, and big news with everyone in this part of the country.

Anyone interested in playing our July 12th show at the HB, please let Potter know. We look forward to the chance to hang out with everyone who makes it out!

I'd definitely agree to this. You guys don't sound like any of those bands as far as I can tell from the songs on your MySpace. Like I said, you guys actually sound good. It's cool you are coming to Des Moines.

it is trash talk probably. it can get fun if you wanna try. Des Moines can be fun. there isnt really 1 aspect of dsm on the internet that portrays it the same. so dont be discouraged.


you will have a fun time at the haunted basement. unless you dont want to.

We are all about having a good time. I've always heard good things about Des Moines. We are definitely looking forward to the HB show. Pretty sure our friends in Hour of the Wolf played there recently, if it's the same place I'm thinking. They said it was great.
