pertwee took his first season or two to really hit his stride (just as troughton is arguably horrible up until his last season or two) but once he did its without a doubt when the golden age of who started (and in my mind ran until the shows original cancellation)

but i am really surprised if you take such a pertwee-centric view of dr who. you cant get down with tom baker at all?

i havent watched the new one yet because rachel fell asleep before it finished downloading and i have to wait for her to come home from work.

im also toooooooooooooottally bummed by the promo pic of the new doctor that'll take over for david tennant (who has been one of the best doctors ever)

People that say Tom Baker is the best Doctor probably think Gogol Bordello is the best band ever.

tom baker is my fave, but i do love pertwee. as far as the recent doctors go, they've all been dope but chris eccleston was kick ass!

They already messed up the new Dr Who by replacing the actor who played him after the first new season. I've grown tired of seeing him "regenerate" it's just a cheap way of explaining why they're always hirring a new actor.

I stoped watching after the first new one did. Either way it's a 3rd rate show and it's not even close to being as campy or original as the old ones.
