Why don't you start going with Jordan to lift weights at the South Side Y now that Richard decided to stop going?

I will show you fagz how to get your fucking swoll on.

Too far out of my way. We live in Valley Junction, and there's a Y right by us. So it makes much more sense for me to go there.

And I totally already know how to get my swell on!

The free weights and cable machines at the Southside Y are much less extensive than the Walnut Creek Y. Maybe you should be coming to Walnut Creek.

Cable machines? No thanks, I'm not that type of guy.

Free weights? The Souffside Y has a squat rack, benches, an incline bench and all the dumbbells that I could ask for. I wouldn't need anything else.

...and it's much closer to home.

Actually I use the lat pulldown, cable row and the crossover machine for tricep pulldowns. Other than that, yes, I like to think I'm too good for the machines they keep around for wieners, women and the elderly.

Are you telling me you have a combined bench, squat and deadlift of 1337 lbs here?

*facepalm

For some reason that reminds me of something JRS would say.

I don't really deadlift. I mean I do every once in awhile, but not often enough. Squats and bench I do about once a week.

.... Then what are you talking about with "1337"?

1337 - Hacker "Sp33k" for leet, or elite. Originating from 31337 "eleet", the UDP port used by Dead Cow Cult, a hacker group, to access Windows 95 using Back Orifice, a notorious hacking program, it is a language in which numbers and symbols are put together to look like letters. Some people create their own 1337 letters and it makes them look more 1337 by fellow 1337-speakers.

Rhino you've been surfing the internet for how many years now, and you've never come across 1337 speak? Seriously? I thought you were just dicking with me on purpose. Play some Starcraft and get with it.

Some of the obvious stuff I know (n00dz. j00z) but honestly "pwned" confused me when I first saw it. Not too into the nerdspeak.

I am a woman, and I happen to use free weights more often than cable machines. But sometimes machines are quicker than having to mess with setting up weight on a bench, etc. Not to mention cable machines have the added benefit of resistance. Dudes just wanna look tough throwing on a big stack.
