Okay so...
I just got back from a Sioux City Pete and the Beggars show in downtown Los Angeles and they were fucking jaw dropping. Haters hatin' on them from last time they played in Des Moines need not hate anymore, you will fucking love them this time around. Dirtydisgustingfuckedupandnastyfuzzedpunkfuckingroll. Joe Ross is on the drums this time around and he is just tearing it up. Damien (YEAH DUDE, THAT DAMIEN) is playing nasty fucking shit on the bass and it just makes it sound devastating. Pete is just so fucking rad on stage, his persona is just so cool.

Really, they sound absolutely nothing like they sounded last time they came through, so everyone needs to check this out after the HB show. This shit is for hardcore kids, crusts, metal heads, skinheads... just PUNX dude.

There is no way I'm gonna miss their Des Moines date.

-Joe.

The Beggars sounded way heavier compared to when I saw then at IC's last Modern Life Is War show. Must be Damien on bass.

They dig a great job tonight here in IC. They were really raunchy this time around--which is great. The trashiness. . . they just had a great stage performance.

Last time I saw Sioux City Pete & The Beggars was at the Nikki Sudden show a few years ago. I know a lot of people like that band, but it was one of the most tedious things I've ever watched. Couldn't get into it. I used to like The Chickenhawks though.

I might be at this show tonight just for something to do.

I will give you my personal Elliot Imes Guarantee in saying that the Beggars will be much, much better than when you saw them with Nikki Sudden.

Well, I'm also looking for an Elliot Imes guarantee of no footstomping on VM's stage.

That one might be a little trickier.

I just found out about Damien playing this. Now my pumped up level has risen. AND i have a present for him. But he has to wear it on stage if he wants it. .

. . More to be revealed. .

Is he not doing Flesh Keys anymore then?
