Barefoot/Loincloth Dude Runs Race

about 3 years ago, some weird dude was down at Nolan Plaza during Food Not Bombs, barefoot and was doing push-ups, pull-ups on trees and running laps and shit--he talked to us about living barefoot for a while...anyone remember this guy?
anyway, saw in the paper recently that he ran some marathon in Des Moines:

that dood is totally familiar...by the looks of it he's married....i wonder if he really lives like that, or if he's all bullshit and just puttin' on a show......hmmmm

I've talked to him before, he runs the red flannel run every year if you want to see him in action.

he doesnt live like that. he comes into the liars club where i work all the time. he usually wears either a skintight shortsleeved body builder type shirt or a short sleeved button up with the buttons unbuttoned most of the way down and the sleeves rolled up a bit and he dances like a madman. dudes seriously cool as shit.
