servo and i spent over 48 hours driving across the country together in a hotel transport bus converted to run on veggie grease-but for some reason still ran on diesel the whole way-sleeping on top of piles of Steaz with two of the most annoying human beings on the planet....that said, he is way too tall to mosh.

I was gonna drum for Wolves of War, but I can't now since I was ran out of Des Moines and whatnot.

That Mother Mother record is good, but I like the cover art more than the music.

Antique Road show is pig fucking great. So is Cash in the Attic on BBC.

Henry Miller wrote favorite travel book 'Air Conditioned Nightmare'. It is a view of America in the 1930s you will not find anywhere else and Miller going on about how boring Salvador Dali is worth the read. Travels with Charlie is a close second with On the Road. The three give a view of life in the US in the 30s, 50s and early 60s. I have yet to find a book that really gets into the changes that were happening after that. Makes you wonder if the country is still going through the same changes that it was in the early 60s.

Another thing you should be into is Californication. The main character Hank Moody is like a crosss between Miller and Bukowski.

Miller is different from Bukowski. Unlike Bukowski where is main form of self destruction is booze, Miller it is this long line of fucked up women. Though he has always been written off as a mosoginist, I've always felt that out of all the American authurs he came the closest to explaining the emotional side of male sexuality. Add to that the vocab that he used and the fact he never edited anything, he is not the one trick pony must have made him out to be. I remember having an English teacher in High School that went on and on about how prefect On the Road was and how it was done in one draft and how it was a journal and novel and how new that was. She didn't like it when I brought up the fact that Miller had done it 20 year earlier cause as she put it, "All Miller wrote Pronography. Not art."
