Yeah, I honestly didn't think it would cost anything at first. Then when I saw the flyer I was a little surprised. I can appreciate what the guy is trying to do though, so it doesn't bother me much. You can come watch me and touchnice at tyborn's cd release the next day.

I was kind of wondering the same thing... it doesn't seem to have any reasoning behind it, other than it is a name for a halloween show. I kind of like the poster.
we are currently trying to think of tasteful halloween costumes.. as everything we have come up with so far the majority of people have said would be too offensive.

yeah i also wasn't expecting it to be $15... but i guess that gets you into whatever the haunted house thing is that they have too so hopefully that and the fire tribe will make it worth the extra dough. I think it'll be fun.

Your opinions on this situation are easy to disregard. I actually sat down with that guy quite a few times and talked about a lot of things. So I have a first hand knowledge of what was being done, and what he was trying to accomplish. While there were some personal goals, it was not the only motivation.
I think the main problem with the early stages was the mismanagement of funds, so with that I sort of agree with you. I mean, the compilation cds, all the printing and things that went into the first GDP was obsurd. But it was the most successful in that series of events. And should of been even more so with proper money management.
And I won't argue Amedeo has done great things since he has taken over. But he was also there in the beginning.
I guess I would like to know what your connection to either of these people has been. Are you formulating your opinions based simply on the bias of the Cityview articles and other people in town who are hurt over the fact they aren't more involved? Or have you had direct contact with either of these guys?

PS: Your "hurt that they're not more involved" phrase had me seriously laughing. GODDAMN, IF ONLY I WAS SWEET ENOUGH TO HANG WITH THE COOLEST CREW WHO IS NEVER GOING TO DO ANYTHING. SO HURT.
There are just a lot of people fighting what he is doing, and from the way they have talked about it, it is because he came from out of town trying to do something. Now they want to do it, but weren't even trying to do anything before he was here.
And yeah, the local press introduction was stupid... but honestly, what in the local press isn't?
It doesn't hurt to have more people trying to do something. And it is nice to see more people with vision and drive, no matter how ridiculous it may seem to some.

ATTN: Storkus, please take a moment to step outside of your angry rant bubble and explain this whole bit to me? Thanks.
