this is the release of our 1st full length album, "A Sense Of Urgency".

it's good. we're very proud of it and would love for you all to come hang out with us this night.

we're doing an all ages show (cuz they're the most fun) and a 21+ show (for all of the old folk who have full time jobs or whatever). both shows have amazing line ups.

damn i didn't even see those sweet shirts on the table or i would've bought one for sure.

Bravo to Beati Paoli for pulling off the best set i've seen them play so far, you should've just played the whole set again.

Maxilla Blue. as always a fantastic time, hadn't seen you guys in a minute.

Ross Moffat pulled some kinda magic trick, or maybe i was just busy and didn't notice but he somehow managed to remove his shirt on stage without removing his guitar...?

Also, to the Beati Paoli dudez, i have no idea what your intentions are concerning rounding out to the 5 piece you used to have live, but as i stated above this was the best show i've seen you play and i hope you keep it paired down to 4. Everything sounds a little tighter and there's just that much less i need to keep an ear out for during the show. just my thoughts on it...

one last thing: Scott, immaculate job on the recording. The live show is one thing but it's great to hear these songs become something wholly different, and just as great, on my stereo.

Agreed. Best Beati Paoli show I've ever seen. Even after seeing the same set twice, it didn't get old.

tj. i don't know if we even had any shirts that would fit you. i've got all the stencils in the garage, though, so just get me a shirt and i'll paint it up.

we have no intentions of going for 5 at the moment. if the right person comes along, i would love to have someone to add a little extra here and there, but like you said, the recording is really very different from what we do live, and i think i kind of like that. gives you more reason to come out and watch, rather than just sit at home and listen to the songs on the old stereo. (listening on headphones is what i'd recommend, actually)

thanks for the kind words, guys. i'm really happy with this album, and tour is gonna be rad. we'll be back and playing at the haunted basement on the 30th.

and thanks to everyone who came out! especially those who came to both shows and got burritos with me! the show was fantastic. it was a great cd release and a great send off.

AND extra SPECIAL thanks to the great artists that we were lucky enough to share the stage with. everybody sounded great. best show i've been to in a long while.

BTW, The show went really great in Omaha tonight! Beati Paoli and myself and some others basically rocked a rad acoustic improv thing in my living room aka east wing Hotel Frank! It was all love-good show of people-Ill post some fun photos----best of luck to these dsm cats on tour---we play tomorrow in lincoln then they are offf solo! wish them luck!
