Look up tonight. It should be the peak of the Perseid meteor show and they say that at certain points of the night (like 2am-ish) you should see about 50-60 per minute. I've seen a few in the past week or so and went out last night and saw a handful a minute. Good times.

I've been seeing a lot of shooting stars in my numerous wanderings-arounds at night lately.

I thought I was going nuts, I was driving home from Chicago the other day and kept seeing something sort of fall out of the sky at about 4 A.M. but had no clue what it was.
