so did these bands ever play? cause i got there around 7:30 and ended up just leaving around 9:30 because nothing had started and chris called me around 10:15 and said that he left too because no one had even really loaded in besides a cab or two.

I heard this went terribly! bummer for everything that happened dudes, but my decision to stay home seemed like the right one!

There lead singer was a complete IDIOT who apparrently has NO respect for good people who just want to put on a show and have fun! They were fed, offered a place to stay, and yet they tottally trashed the basement. Then the lead singer, after they got done playing, asked "so we still get our $40 a piece right?"

That $40/piece should have gone to fixing what they fucked up! I came at around 7, the show didn't even start 'til about 10:30. Early Graves was good and were very cool dudes but after they got done most people left. I came to see Cross Examination cuz the last couple of times they were booked in Des Moines they didn't show. Did they even fucking play? I have lost any respect for them whatsoever! If you guys need help fixing shit I will gladly lend a hand.

Oh, and Early Graves fucking ruled. If you like His Hero Is Gone, go listen to Early Graves right now. Hatchet played and sucked, and kept calling people "iowa faggots" between songs. Dipshit singer tore the ceiling down so they had to "Get the fuck out of my house. Now."

So, Cross Exam didn't play, everyone in Iowa thinks they are flakes and also shit, and no one here will ever book them again.

The Hatchet singer was a fucking d-bag for real. Everytime he made a slight inclination he was comming over by me, I moved 10 feet away. This guy totally looked like some fucking bro dude actin like a weekend warrior. Seriously, what was up with the 10 yr old columbian boy in the hot shorts? Attention starved? I guess to them its cool to have people watch you get drunk, act like a fuck, then not even play.

Early graves were bad ass. I left after though becase I stood out in the heat for 2 hours and drank alot of beers.
