The best comedian ever, ever, ever. He is in a class all by himself. I will miss his voice so much.

Ha! Same here. He only rinsed, didn't repeat.

Anyway, I was just saying the other day how much I wanted to see him perform before he died. Sad. He's irreplaceable.

my all time favorite!

why couldnt lame comedians die:
Mencia, George Lopez, almost all women comedians, VH1 has a lot of bad
ones on there programs.

It goes straight from Lenny Bruce to George Carlin. He was on the front lines for longer then anyone and he leaves some big fucking shoes to fill. He was one of the few people that could address any issue, make a point and still laugh about it. Beyond the dirty words he really showed us our unaltered reflection as only a great artist could.

all the comedians these days seem to take the same approach. I may laugh at some, but they are not original. or smart like ol' george.

except roundguy.

and that guy that plays the piano, and has a beard.

Lenny Bruce, Rodney Dangerfield, Bill Hicks, Chris Farley, and now George Carlin. Fuck, who are some GOOD comics that are still alive, let's see, Robin Williams (hit & miss) Billy Crystal (also hit & miss) Eddie Murphy (needs to stop doing stupid movies) Dave Chappelle? Who else?

Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, H John Benjamin, Zach Galifianakis, Todd Barry, David Cross (to an extent)..

These guys are all brilliant. There are more out there, too.. comedy is still alive and well, it just isn't as prevalent in our culture like it was in the 80's.

This guy is good too, but not quite on the same level. The video was filmed in my house.

Dennis Leary had a lot of potential and then kind of faded away. It seems that as soon as they start acting they start getting soft.

He was awesome on Shining Time Station. When I worked nights, I'd watch it every morning while I drank my 40 and did bong hits. Carlin was the best.

first episode of Saturday Night Live last night, Carlin hosted and was pretty funny.
and the skit where it's a commercial for the triple blade razor is hilarious "because you'll believe anything", especially now that there is a quad.

watched an old HBO special recorded a little after 9/11 last night. He starts out with "Pussy farts, no one ever talks about them in public anymore...I wonder why?"
a well spent hour.
