Just because Gregg Ginn is in it doesn't mean it's good. None of his solo stuff has ever been good, and this will probably be the worst. When will people learn that just because someone was once upon a time in a good band doesn't mean their new band, solo project etc. doesn't suck balls? Because they almost always do. Shoot yourself in the face.

I guess I just like to see in person somebody that was in a sweet band. Greg Ginn is a pretty important figure in punk rock, so it'd be cool to be in a room with him.
But yeah, the band will probably suck.

I saw him a couple of time back in the mid 90s when it was Greg Ginn band. He was really cool and nice but I can't remember a thing about the music other then it was kind of cool and then they went into this boring 30 minute jam. If you haven't met him, go. If you have don't, from what I heard of this band someone needs to steal all his Dead bootlegs, take away his pot pipe and make him put down his guitar.

Sometimes the nostalgia is cool, sometimes it's not. Keith Morris is so worthless in person that they would have to pay me to go see the circle jerks again. Although I've never met him, it's common knowledge that Danzig is a douche. Marky Ramone is an equally big shithead.

when i saw gregg ginn solo act in the 90s he played an hour and a half, almost all black flag songs(which he sang on) and 3 off of a gone record.
joey i dont know what youre talking about. ALL his solo records are great. anybody that can write what seems like a bullshit made up on the spot solo and recreate it live flawlessly note for note is amazing.
im curious if i can get enough gumption to venture to ames
