The main thing to check, I'm pretty sure, would be that the impedance (ohms) of the speakers isn't bellow what your amp is designed for (extra drain could damage/overheat the amp). Your amp should say X RMS at X ohms, and may give a quantity to not use. Also know that running two sets of speakers directly off one amp will lower the impedance.

what is the monitors ohms? whats the wattage capability of the speaker? is it powered or just a speaker cabinet? are you talking about the marshall microstack head? i think those have 8 or 15 watts. how are you going to line out your tape deck? into an amp then a cabinet or are you going to... i need more information. but yes i dont see why you couldnt...

I dont have either of the gear at my house but heres a pic of the amp i have now

and i have no clue what the monitor looks like except that its huge and made by yamaha. My only thing is the reason for getting the monitor was to have more amps and its looking like i have to use my marshall to even make the thing work?
( i have 0 clue about this shit, ive been using practice amps plugged into each other for half a decade now )

thats a marshall micro stack amp. AND what are you doing. are you using that amp to play instrument thru and to power(amplify) something else? cause that would be hard on everything. like moltar said if you double up on cabinets with one amp it cuts the ohms in half. depending on how its hooked up. are you just hooking in adapters and connectors to everything? i guess i dont know what exactly youre trying to do...

Trade/sell the 15w marshall man. If you push an under powered amp on some speakers you can damage them the same as if you push an over powered amp.

no. i dont know who the seller is. i just happened upon it. any kind of pa you could line in multiple ...instruments. and then use a monitor or speaker cabinet to play them thru...basically.
