Never went. I was too cool for that place. Nothing has changed.

Wasn't that inside the old movie theaters at Southridge?

i went inside once. the show i saw was not that good. the place was cool, though. if it hadn't been so church oriented, i probably would have gone more.
Even today, I can't see a car run a red light without instantly having an image flash into my head of a man's erect penis, penetrating a watermelon.

UGH I SUCK

When I was in In Loving Memory for a month, we played a show there with Living Sacrifice. For as much as I hate organized religion, and anything related to it, the Frank's House people were really cool to us. They made all the bands this awesome meal with sandwiches and mashed potatoes and gravy, and it was sweet.

And then they talked to us about being Christians, and that sucked. Also, you couldn't swear if you played there, and if you did, they would shut the P.A. off on you.

So nevermind what nice stuff I was saying at first. Fuck that place.

If you repent will they turn the P.A. back on?

yeah! that show was really good! eatf played, and, in true eatf fashion, decided to curse more than usual.

then, if i remember right, the owners shut down the show, and creepy kids couldn't play, and they tried to turn the creepy kids against us for getting the show shut down, but it was the creepy kids, so we all just kinda laughed at them...

I once attempted to get Pud a gig there.....I think they were going to add us to a bill but they knew they had one foot out the door as a business.

I never really heard about it as a venue until it was was about to close.....

The idea was to act like a band that they would want to have play there and then to play a setlist consisting of dreaded music with SATANIC LYRICS!

I kinda wish that idea would have panned out!

also I apologize to keep bringing up the past, but I truly did forget about that until I read this thread.

i recall something like bands having to audition to play there or something? i filled in on bass for the horseshoe spatulas for their audition show and i guess they didn't make the cut or something. i don't know what that is all about r if that was a special occasion, all i know is that it was lame and the floor was slanted. i never went to a show there. the only cool thing about that place was before shows they set up boxes and ramps outside and let us skateboard. except the quarterpipe they had was way to steep and shittily built. fuck that shit.
abortions for some, miniature american flags for others

There are some pud shows that are hard for me to remember, I had my flings with binge drinking early in life I guess,

Nothing like college to take the fun out of being a drunk asshole! Ive seen enough of those, moderation is sexy baby.....

but....
we never played at a church....
They frown a pon lyrics about sexual fantasy, killing goth kids, telling people you are going to make them burn, songs about masterbation, songs about the grimace from mcdonalds fucking people in the ass and being a sexual devient, um, they also do not like songs about you being a pizza man and giving chicks your sausage.....

our best song was about Ted Dibiase......and I hear he is a holy man now himself......I think he would frown a pon us bringing up his past debauchery.....

those things aside we coulda played at a church....

I have no beef with god....

I also have no beef with church going folks, they just do not understand me, I never wish any of them any harm, I wish them the best, and I hope they find what they are looking for......

I just hope they dont fuck up their kids minds in their own search!

and we always played nasty thrash metal......

we never had devil lyrics that I can remember, I never liked the devil......but we had a song called Burn Like in Hell.....

but I did have a pretty vulgar mouth, I guess I got that out of the way early in life as well! (heh)

we did play at a highschool grad party, the hull ave tab, house parties, um hairy marys, johnston highschool, some lodge places like shriners or something, and then little house get togethers(we loved the intimate setting of it all), um there was one special show in Murray, Iowa with The Mutts, it was one of the best times Ive ever had!

we tried to do an acoustic show at java joes but they would not let us......
too bad, it would have actually brought some people who actually would spend money into their establishment.......
