I mean, how long can it last?
I guess by Doom, i mean:
1. Hostile takeover
2. exploded
3. Total Goverment Failure followed by civil war/new government
4. Everyone is too fat to get anything done
5. Etc.

i figured it was more toward this-
Events of Mega Man III, Mega Man's Soccer, Wily and Right's RockBoard and Mega Man V are set in this year.

Mega Man 3 takes place in 200X.
Mega Man 5 takes place in 20XX.
Mega Man 4 takes place in 20XX as well, one year after 3, which leads us to believe that 3 takes place in 2009, 4 in 2010, and 5... we don't know. 5 takes place after a "bried period of peace".
