I doubt many people outside of the mobile taco-bending community will really care about this. Other small businesses have to pay taxes on their property (be it directly or through rent), why should these guys get around it by parking el trucko in a parking lot on SE 14th and never.fucking.moving?


If you're going to get this worked up over shitty tacos, I'd advise you to either A. re-evaluate your life or B, the most likely route, smoke some weed and chill out.

I'm in favor of anything that will help clean up SE 14th. They've previously mentioned getting rid of the third world trailer parks and they also mention in this article about getting rid of the other roadside vendors, i.e. the guys who sell knock-off shoes and sunglasses and then Korean mink blankets or rugs with wolves, wizards, Mexican flags, eagles, etc. I'd rather see those fuckers go before El Taco Trucko, but I'll take what we can get, I guess.

Korean mink blankets are really fucking sweet, I bought a few of them in Iraq. They always have stupid designs on them though, as the third world is slightly less fashionable than we are. I believe you can buy them from most Oriental stores as well. Plus they're vegan friendly as they're not made of mink.

Word on the street is although the city want to "clean up" 14th by driving out the hispanic business owners out, they seemed it fit to approve the bulding of a JD Byrider on the same stretch of 14th. While they are determined to put these hispanics out of sight they still think it is nessecary to enable those poor w/ shitty credit to get shittier credit.

Also they want these hispanic operators to have costly permits every 3 days, they dont think it is nessecary for those operating stands in neolan plaza or those who sell in the farmers market to carry such permits.

This is not a racially motivated issue at all......

Those who have stands in the farmer's market actually move. They pack up their shit at the end of the day and don't come back until next week. In Nollen Plaza, the same thing. At the end of the day they pack up and come back the next day. Most of the Taco dudes just dump their trailer there and stay there. If they drove their Tacoranflas back to el casa every night, there's not much they could say.

There are a ton of auto dealers on SE 14th already... A couple Aztec Motors lots (no credit or ssn needed!), Zacatecas motors and a few other Hispanics. I think the RV dealer is the only white dude there.

how many aztec motors are there? i counted two last time around town.
