this week

moon--good. but not great. sam rockwell plays two guys named sam

zombieland--way overhyped. bill murray kills in it

extract--not funny. was expecting more from mike judge

bad lieutenant port of call new orleans--fuck yes! werner herzog did an amazing job with this. nic cage gets all amazing in it too. recommended.

I was underwhelmed by this movie too. I mean, there were some good parts, but over all, it fell flat. I wasn't expecting another Office Space, but I was expecting more than what it was.

Underground(dir. Emir Kusturica) - this is about the history of Yugoslavia since the beginning of WWI and basically up to the fall of other Balkanian countries. there's a lot going on to describe in a few sentences, but this is seriously an amazing movie. slapstick comedy to war commentary. really great soundtrack too(if you're into balkan music).

Legend of 1900 - one of my all time favorites. set in the 1920's, tim roth stars as a child who was abandoned on a cruise ship by his immigrant parents when born, and grows up on the ship--never setting foot on land. he also becomes an amazing pianist and essentially invents jazz. so awesome. also, two words: piano duel.

i don't understand how it's the rise of the cobra. he doesnt become cobra until the last 4min of the film, and it ends with his imprisonment.

OH MY GOD, I WATCHED EVERY THING IN GI JOE BUT THE LAST FOUR MINUTES WAITING TO SEE COBRA. ERIC CONVINCED ME THAT WE WOULD NEVER SEE HIM. SO I TURNED IT OFF. I'M SO FUCKING MAD RIGHT NOW. GET IT? THATS WHY I'M TALKING IN CAPS RIGHT NOW.

I watched daffy duck - quackbusters last night. I'm not going to tell you the plot, its streaming on netflix. Daffy duck opens a ghost hunting business. Hilarity ensues. Shit, I just told you the plot after I said I wouldn't.

Well I'm not so heartbroken then.

Now I'm just mad that I watched such an awful movie. Guess what? If they make a sequel, I'll watch it too. Because I'm an asshole.

I watched I Love You, Man a couple of nights ago and I have to say, pretty good. I'm in agreement with Thom in saying that I like most of the Apatow crew's output.

I Love You, Man was weak. Had a few funny moments but overall I wasn't impressed.

I watched Die Hard last night, fuckin' Carl Winslow and the twinkies man.
