did you go to shows in highschool or after? and besides that there were more punk and ska shows now its mostly metal/hardcore

You can get into more (and in my opinion better) shows after you're 21, so I don't see how your scene fun can possibly peak before then... unless it's more about nostalgia than seeing good bands play.

i missed out on a few 21+ shows, most of them were bongzilla shows at marys...i guess i havent really noticed any spectacular 21+ shows..i think i've been to 1 since i turned 21, i think i made it into more 21+ shows when i was a teenager than i have the past year...what shows are you talking about? and why are you still here? i thought you were leaving this site?

Davo, Moped, & Lanny ran the show. I got all 6 episods on VHS! I thought it was a good show for the time era.

I am having the same amount of fun at shows now than I was 10 years ago. There have been a lot of different people to filter in and out, but there is a good group of people who still hang around since then. I don't recall missing out on too many shows because I wasn't 21. I can think of two off the top of my head: Inspector 7@ Marys, and Motorhead in Cedar Rapids. I guess when you play in band that is playing the 21 over show, it doesn't matter how old you are, unless it is in fucking Pittsburgh PA, they tried to make Megan sit outside the venue until we played, fuck that!

alot has to do with who you are also. Hairy Marys is a good example. if u were cool you were in. if you wernt you prolly got slaped in the face and thrown out. I miss that place, so many good fights, broken faces, holding up traffic cus uf brawls in the middle of University.

Yeah dude, it really isn't hard to do at all. I went to shows when I wasn't 21 simply by going to a lot of shows and making myself known. If you really wanted in you could have gotten in...
