Apparently it has a minute amount of alcohol in it, which occurs naturally from the process by which juice is made. I don't really think it's a big deal, but it's a non-issue because I don't drink it anyway.

Instead of simply not eating anything that ever comes into contact with an animal product, the idea is that there is no intention of consuming animal products, supply is not reduced and thus demand is not increased, and one is gaining no pleasure from having his food come into contact with the same cooking medium in which animal products are cooked or the same equipment on which animal products are processed, and thus that which is being consumed is still vegan.

That's how I justify it, at least.
hold up.. but you won't drink juicy juice because it isn't edge?
Is this true, Shane?

So I had a buddy tell me he read about some place that makes Jucy Lucy's? He said he thought it was on SW 9th, but wasn't certain. Anybody know what he is talking about? Jucy Lucy's make me think about Matt's in Minneapolis and I start drooling.

Anyways....B-Bops fucking owns. It kills any other fast food burger (you can find around here) by a lot. It's pretty much a Checker's ripoff, but I actually like B-Bops burgers more than Checker's. B-Bops also has great fries. One thing I did when I moved back to the Des Moines area was grab a burger at B-Bops.

The only fast food burger I've had that is better is In-N-Out Burger. That shit is unfuckwithable in the land of fast food burgers. I was out in California about a month ago and ate Double Double's...Animal style...3 times in a week. I only regret not eating it more.

I've yet to try Five Guys burgers, but I hear they are up there with In-N-Out in the world of fast food burgers. Also heard of a new joint called Smashburger (out of Colorado) that is supposed to be killer. Want.

In-N-Out is hell of good but overrated. B-Bops definitely is a contender, but they need to adopt the In-N-Out format of being able to order any combo of burger/cheese that you like. A 3x4 B-Bops burger might even convince me to move back to Iowa. (well, maybe not.)

Anyone had Good Times before? I haven't seen this place outside of Colorady, but it's amazing. And why isn't there a Steak N Shake in Des Moines? Iowa City has it... but not Des Moines? What the fucks?

I've seen Smashbuger around, but haven't tried it yet. Definitely on my list of things to do before I leave this state.
