you haven't given a single good reason for why you don't like them. if it's because you don't believe in the idea of keeping a pet, then you are misdirecting your anger. people are going to keep pets. ARL are doing their best to make sure that if people are going to have pets they are going to be responsible and that the animals will be safe.

you also haven't clarified what your negative experience was.

i dont like them because i had negative experiences. i never said they were to blame. i had a dog when i was a kid that my neighbor stole and took it there and had them kill it. it had a dog tag on it with my dads name and a phone number that they didnt call. the dog i "adopted" got sick in 2 days and spit up green blood stuff and when we took it there to get looked at they killed it without giving us the option of taking it to a vet. they wouldnt even say what was wrong with it and it took place within 30 minutes of being there.
i live with pets. i like animals more than people. i have no complaint with the arl as a business, because they are a business. i dont care what anybodys feelings are towards it. yeah maybe i shouldnt of had the oft handed fuck the arl comment. it was not a FUCK THEM. it was just a lighthearted fuck them(sigh).

So your avatar is a picture of your bengal kitten? It's really cute! But I just adopted a kitten from the ARL (southridge location) and it looks pretty much exactly like that. The ARL and the vet both call it a "tabby". Same spots on the belly, same M markings above his eyes.

Just sayin.
