so who was the first band that was playing?? got there while they were playing their last song and it was actually pretty good.

didn't get to see hardly any of Holy Grail's set. bassist of 3 inches of blood asked if I was gonna be hanging out in the hallway for a little bit with my stuff and went inside and didn't come back out till their last song. guess I coulda went in but just my luck someone would have raided the merch tables. not like there was a lot left but still.

new 3 inches of blood songs were great. crowd was pretty boring and young dudes next to me kept getting mad cause my sweatshirt would touch their head when banging my fist. dude got really mad and tried jabbing me twice with his elbow when I squeezed in the front and put by leg up on the stage during their last song. dude its a metal show, you gonna get bumped around.

singer of Holy Grail, bad with names, bought all my metal mags/zines. totally cool dude.

cityview guy trying to explain he was guest listed was funny cause you could tell he didn't want to be there anyways.

I also hate when they keep the lights down the entire show.

I thought I'd heard that Marijuana Deathsquads were added to the bill last-minutey, maybe that was the opener you saw? Otherwise I think there was A Well Dressed Man. I didn't make it to the show anyway due to work, I'm a lame-ass.

MDS got added to the late show. they started around 1am. fucking great. they were a 7 piece. theyre at daytrotter today recording.

I totally wussed out on going to this show, and that's a bummer because I would have loved to hang with Kurtis. I'll consider this a lesson to not wuss out so much.
