i think this is quite easily one of the most solid all out albums of the 90's. Have you listened Second Coming? I like it but most people don't :(

I liked that album. Actually, I think that album kind of introduced me to brit-pop. I remember KGGO used to have a show on Sunday nights at 9pm where they would play edgier music (known as "alternative" then). I remember hearing "Love Spreads" and liking it and then getting the CD in the mail from BMG shortly thereafter by accident because I forgot to send in the card stating that I didn't want it as it was the selection of the month for "alternative". Out of all the purges my music collection has seen over the years, I still own it.

That's weird to know KGGO played Stone Roses. There's a similar show I guess that 105.1 airs on Sundays? at night. It's a British radio show and they play current british indie and classic brit pop like oasis, stone roses, smiths etc.

I didn't know that, I'll have to look into that.

Yeah, KGGO's show played stuff that was on major labels but things you weren't likely to hear through conventional sources. I remember stuff like The Church, Stone Roses, Elastica, Pixies, The Cure, etc. You know, shit that was popular in 1995. It would be cool if there were a radio station that would play stuff like that consistently.

Iron Chic - Shitty Rambo 7"

Just got this in the mail today and holy shit....best post-Latterman band ever. This blows the demo away. Even better than RVIVR.

Personally I like the demo a little better but they are definitely the best ex-latterman band

The demo has a little more "grit" to it, but I think that is just because the production is better on the e.p.? Anyway, I love both, but this new e.p. is soooooo good.

I love MW but I haven't heard that album. I was honestly a little disappointed with the art of partying.

This band has played Dsm at least half a dozen times in the last 4 years, Shane, you were no where to be found. I think the last time they played was over the summer. It was awesome.

I was there the last time they played the Mews. They kept talking about how they were going to the rodeo. I saw you there. I even talked to you! Totally hurt by this, Jordan.

that being said, i get bored really easily, and if the next album doesn't move forward in some way, then i dont really feel the need to listen to it too much...as a modern thrash album by itself, its good, but nothing special...would listen to waste em all or hazardous mutation any day over it...both of those are solid...and differ in style
