I decided to have them "play last" not "headline" because the walkout would be insane if shai hulud "headlined". Now it kinda forces kids to see shai hulud if they are coming for ftfd (who is the main draw).

oh yeah, and I made the flyer, not them. sowwie

I guess I didn't realize that they would be the main draw. Interesting.

Oh speaking of, Sam. Your flyer will be done this week. I'm slow, I'm sorry. Blame school. I'm thinking just making it one big picture of elliot.

"In today's hardcore/metal scene, it's easy for anyone to become jaded by the constant clones of, what is basically, the same band with hundreds of different names. We've all heard it; the same riff accompanied by the growling vocals and simultaneous "chug-chug" breakdowns."

id say thats fairly accurate

It does bug me when a band puts in their bio stuff like, "In a scene that's grown stagnant with by-the-numbers breakdowns, WE have come along to do something different." But really they're not.

I do like For the Fallen Dreams, and think that while they are doing a fairly common style of tough-guy hardcore, they mix in certain sounds and influences that most of their peers wouldn't. Don't be too quick to dismiss a band based on ten seconds of their song, and especially not based on their pictures.

For the Fallen Dreams sucks dudes.
Just because your friend booked the show doesn't mean you have to like the band.

They don't suck, they're good at playing what they do. I liked them a lot more the second time they were here then the first. Just come out and support your friends and lets jam, that what all this is about anyways!

they are decent... i don't love them, just think they are better than crap. I mean they don't make my top 100 or anything and i am sure they don't make elliots.

I once wrote a musical with hate breed lyrics. I could probably do the same with For The Fallen Dreams lyrics and it'd have the same comedic value. The music alright.

I'll probably be at this show though.

Actuall, I'm giving all a listen right now and I'm kind of into it. Its kind of baffling me. I could do without the tough guy growls but some of the instrumentals is pretty 'aight.
