i'm not debating which is cooler. im saying, if i was on a magic carpet with an AR-15 and you were on a dragon, you would be shot out of the sky and your dragon would no longer be living. that's all.
I don't think you've considered logistics at all.

no way youre gonna kill a dragon with an ar15. i would mock your attempt.

Dragon Scales > AR-15
Dragons will keep you warm while flying over the mountains with their steam exhaust (nostrils), and warm loveable bodies....OF POWER.

Give me a dragon and a rusty pocket knife and I will gladly take on @nonymous, an AR-15 and a stupid magic carpet.

I'd much rather ride Puff The Magic Dragon than some smelly carpet made at a sweat shop.

i can't even understand why anyone would choose magic carpet.
3+tons of fire breathing, flying reptilian whoopass
or a fucking rug?

important note: tyler, the rug you posted clearly isn't magic. it seems very few of you understand the concept of a magic carpet.

obviously you don't grasp the concept of DRAGON SADDLES.
like the ones for horses, but better.
shit's made of the finest leather and padded with the softest down known to man or beast.

then what you're saying, and is obviously the point of this argument is as follows:
magic carpets = laymen
DRAGONS = MEN. MEN WHO CAN HANDLE A LITTLE TURBULENCE AND CAN DEFINITELY HANDLE THEIR MEAD.

This one time in Iraq I bought a Muslim prayer rug off an old dude on the side of the street. I asked him if the rug flew. He Lol'd. End of story.
Dragons can munch the magic rug and even eat the pilot of the carpet.
Just thought I'd be the first to bring up "rug munching" and "carpet pilots", carry on.

You're bouncing all over the place, and you're definitely going to puke if you've got more than a couple drinks in you.
so youre telling me a dragon ride would be uncomfortable? theyre natural flyers like birds. theyre graceful and can turn circles around a carpet.
now if it was over a desert compared to the mountains i might reconsider the carpet....but id still go with the dragon.

Being as is the magic carpet is a tradition from the Middle East, I doubt they would look like something from a D&D book and/or renaissance festival.

after contemplating long and hard on this difficult subject, i'm going to throw my hat in the "dragon" ring. because dragons are way cooler than rugs.

there will be a party on my magic carpet this friday. We'll fly somewhere. there'll be a beer ball, and one of my fellow carpet riders will provide music. I would invite the dragon people, but they ruin all fun with their giant flapping wings, horrible dragon breath, and overall bad, loner, "why doesn't anyone like me and my dragon" attitude.

Dragons hate each other. They are loners. They will only fight amongst themselves for each others loot. This will be watched from above as we spit on you.
