no i totally agree with you...i obviously do what i can to leave the smallest ecological footprint that i can...but even at that it is still contributing to the overall problem...i personally don't think that there is anything within reason that humans can do to save themselves...we are all way to attached to our technology, luxuries and current way of life...i do what i can, and its good when other people do what they can, i really don't much hope for a future for our species...even with the technological advances...well, i suppose i do have some hope but it is very little, and it requires alot of people dying...i don't particularly enjoy just sitting back and watching everybody fuck themselves and everybody else, i've just chosen to accept it to some degree i suppose...that in no way though means that i dont strive to keep a personal fight alive

Joe beat me to it.

But I get where you are coming from.

It's a matter of choosing more carefully what you are saying. I just believe that we are on a path to the destruction of many many more species before we disappear. I also personally believe that humanity as a whole won't depart the ecosystem of this earth.

Within our generation or our children's generation there will most likely be a huge population crash. We have most likely reached our carrying capacity, if not surpassed. It's probably going to be some terrible plague, that will wipe out a great portion (if not majority) of our population. It will probably effect developing nations more so than our own, but that's no reason to ignore it.

That combined with global climate changes are going to really change the way humans live their lives on this planet.

just remember that nations developing is a large asset to the overall problem...

Well, Now you've got the friday and saturday before that...or the friday and saturday right after that as options. FOUR more days to choose from. Unless you're still going to be in Texas humping steers and bitching about dry skin.

Actually, I will...but I'm not into steers, more like people wearing white belts with swoop haircuts.

SXSW is a lenthy affair.
