It's only a matter of time before the house centipedes start chillin in the basement. I bet now that I've said that, I'll find one when I go down and do laundry later.
Also, there was a spider in my kitchen last night too.

none of these things gross me out.
Even today, I can't see a car run a red light without instantly having an image flash into my head of a man's erect penis, penetrating a watermelon.
UGH I SUCK

On Saturday, I woke up to Madison screaming and running out of the room, because there was a GIANT one on the wall right next to my head.

Colorado has these gross shiny brown centipedes that live in the ground. I've been running into a lot of them while doing yard work. Thankfully I haven't spotted a house centipede yet... just lots of little house spiders.
Silverfish and centipedes are two different things, though they are both really gross. Centipedes are the worst though, due to their speed and nasty antennae/stingers.
All that's missin' is the retired band teacher with the self-inflicted gunshot wound!

Someone recently was telling me about getting snakes in their basement. I'm not afraid of snakes (except I suppose the ones I should be afraid of), but if I ever saw one in my basement, even a little garter snake, I think I would freak the fuck out.

If you ever see one in your basement that doesn't appear to be a garter snake, please call me, so I can adopt it.

If there's one that isn't a garter snake down there, I'm killing it. Then we'll figure out what it is.
Other than that, there might be a trouser snake down there. Ha ha.

word, every time i take out a stump at work it tips over and about 10 million of those nasty fucks start going apeshit trying to find cover.
also, i navigated through the crawlspace of a 110 year old house to turn the water back on today. spider fucking city!
